Galeri Seni Rupa Milenium was established in 1998, at the time crisis brought impact on art exhibition activity such as getting an exhibition place. To fulfill this requirement, an idea came up to build an exhibition place with proper schedule to accommodate those activities.

Exhibition programs have been planned monthly with 3 weeks duration for each. For the past ten years, 86 exhibitions involving 180 artists had been held at Galeri Milenium. Various programs had been held such as Boyke Adithya Krishna solo exhibition, continued by Agus Suwage, Ketut Mastrum, and I made Supena's group exhibition, ISI lecturers paintings exhibition including Subroto Sm, Aming Prayitno, and Sun Ardi. Galeri Milenium also exhibited public figure paintings such as Butet Kertaredjasa's, Sitok Sregenge's, Djaduk Ferianto's, and Agus M Noor's.

Last but not least, Galeri Milenium also exhibited senior and young painters' artwork. Senior painter's such as those of Chairul Bachri's, Permadi Lyosta's, Salim M's, Amrus Natalsya's, Abas Alibashya's, and Augustin Sibarani's. Young painters' such as Heri Purwanto, Dadi Setiyadi from ISI Yogyakarta, and also the artworks from Art of Five group, including Yohannes Catur Windu's, Dicky Ariefianto's, Fransiska Fitriana's, Anna R. Prameswari's (R.I.P), and Indra Arief Hidayat's.

Certainly, not all exhibitions and artists that had been held could satisfy the various interest of all art lovers. However, Galeri Milenium still hopes their exhibitions will have benefit to the art world itself.
