Our own body is in the world as the heart is in the organism: it keeps the visible spectacle constantly alive, it breathes life into it and sustains it inwardly, and with it forms a system.

Through the body the perception of certain things can be understood, through the body the perception of oneself can be understood. Also by way of the body knowledge about the environment can be acquired. In doing so, the multidimensional body represents what should be understood by transforming into what can not be abandoned. Circumstances in which the body wants to interact with the environment and wants to form relationships with it always stimulate thought. Through a variety of perspectives on the body concerning the environment, the understanding of the process of stimulation is always present. This way, the body as a moving system stimulates the environment to transform itself into being recognized by that same environment. The existence of the body changes into something else, when the process that has stimulated the representation is presented by the body itself.

The connection of the body in interpersonal relationships shows the environment is forming one way of stimulating itself to express a significant personal power. Subjectivity is one of the characterizations that make a body special among others. Elsbeth Bauer, in creating her series of work Somebody Here, makes us view the body as something that stimulates the primary relationship with the environment. Where interpersonal subjectivity is not obvious it gives a characteristic visibility to what would not be obvious otherwise. The stretching hands demonstrate how interpersonal relationships will be understood by others.

He who is constantly seen in the continuing spectacle of life, lives in its wind and feels this in his heart, and within the existing system, Maurice Merleau-Ponty in his book Phenomenology of Perception, published by Routledge, 2002, basically shows the perception of the body in interpersonal relationships with environment using the system that exists in the subjectivity of its life. Through this perspective Elsbeth Bauer, the sculptor, gives the hand a prominent role in her work, with the purpose to distort interpersonal elements from the body into something interesting. The reflection of life has become a different focal point on other human beings with a thematic present relationship in the interaction in the existing system. Elsbeth tries to give observers the perception of distortion in a way that shows how the meaningful hands have a clear vision.

Through hands as a perspective on the dynamics of the system of the body, Elsbeth reflects herself in the mirror of the system showing that interpersonal relationships have a special quality that will never be lost in the way they represent the perspective of the body, provoking questions about the empty space that should form relationships without stimulation. The solo exhibition Somebody Here tries to reflect on the process of embodiment within social reality through a recollection of the point of view of the body which you want to show in an interpersonal relationship.

Mengungkap aksi tentang bagaimana gerak berlalu atau gerak yang telah dilakukan, merupakan bagian dari melihat realita yang ada dengan satu situasi yang direncanakan tanpa jeda waktu perubahan. Itu menjadi sesuatu yang lain. Kejadian berubah-ubahnya suatu aksi ke aksi yang lain, dari rekaman reaksi subyek yang melihat adalah realita yang harus dibawa dalam suatu ruang tanpa melihat sekat.

Disinilah identitas dari aksi atau bagaimana aksi itu mempunyai batasan hingga pengertian dari tujuan aksi itu menjadi bentukan atas dinamika gerak yang terus menerus. Maka terlihat bagaimana bentuk menjadi suatu tujuan untuk membuat satu pengertian yang menimbulkan interaksi secara nyata.

Toto melakukan proses itu untuk mendapatkan bentuk bagaimana harus melihat dengan berbagai sudut pandang untuk mengembangkan obyektivitas dari satu hal yang diperhatikannya. Aksi Toto membuat realitas dalam suatu ruang tanpa jeda waktu mengiringi bagaimana dirinya berinteraksi untuk mendapatkan bentukan-bentukan realistis.
